Chapter 1 26th April 2003 A relationship about to become broken.

It was 2pm when Claire Filan woke up to voices coming from the sitting room,she groaned and rolled over from her side onto her back and tried to go back to sleep,

but it was no use Claire trying to get back to sleep when her brother and long term boyfriend were downstairs making a lot of noise.

Claire had worked 3 shifts back to back at Sligo general hospital without a break between shifts,and hadn't got home from work til 10:30 that morning.

by now she was very tired but she knew that she wouldn't get anymore sleep,so she got out of bed and pulled on her dressing gown and went downstairs .

Kian and Shane were in the sitting room playing on the play station trying to pass a bit of time before their monthly meeting with Louis,

the 2 lads didn't realize just how much noise they were making or that they'd even woken Claire up,
that was until she came downstairs and into the sitting room with her dressing gown on.

Kian looked up as his long term girlfriend came into the sitting room and sat on the arm of the sofa,he then turned to look at her and then gently pulled her off the arm of the sofa and onto his lap,

Kian then said "hey baby what are you doing up?,you should still be asleep."

Kian then said " so go on back upto bed babe,and i'll bring you a coffee up."

Shane then looked at his sister with concern in his eyes and said "sis Ki is right you should still be in bed asleep"

Shane then said "so do yourself a favour sis, and go back to bed like Kian told you to,"

Shane then said "anyway sis why have you come downstairs?, and sis your gonna end up off sick."

Shane then said " sis if you carry on working 3 shifts back to back like you just have done,your gonna end up being really ill."

Claire sighed and said "Shane i know that i should still be in bed after doing 3 back to back shifts,"

Claire then said "i'm shattered but i can't go back to sleep with the amount of noise,that you 2 are making in here,"

Claire then said "you 2 bloody nosiey idiots have just woken me up, that's why i've come downstairs to see what all the noise was about."

Claire then said "oh you guys are on easy street compared to the likes of me and Bron,"

Claire then said "you 5 don't have to do long shifts or even real hard work like we do,"

Claire then said "and anyway Shay the reason why i did three shifts was because we are so short staffed at the moment,and what are you doing here?."

Shane then said "sis we do work hard we have dance rountines to make sure we get right,and we have to make sure that we get the song words right."

Wasn't it a joint fic or am I mixing things up? Good job Claire. :)

this was orginally meant to have been a joint fic on another forum but the other person bailed on me and i completly rewote it

Shane then said " and we have to do meet and greets with the fans,and sis i'm here because i'm giving Ki a lift into Dublin instead of us both taking our cars to this meeting."

Shane then said "sis i've been here ever since you got home from work and i know your short staffed at the hospital at the moment,"

Shane then said "because Bron's also been moaning about how short staffed all departments are due to sickness,holidays and maternity leave,now do you want a drink?."

Kian then said "babe we'll be leaving shortly to head over to Dublin for this daft meeting with Louis,so you'll be able to go back to bed and get some much needed sleep,"

Kian then said "babe just sit there and i'll go and make us all a cup of coffee,then we must get going otherwise Louis will be wondering where we've got to."

Claire then wriggled off Kian's lap and st on the sofa next to Shane,and then said "Ki babe i don't want a coffee if you are making it,you always make my coffee far to strong for my liking and it always looks like tar,"

Claire then said "oh and Ki babe it's not worth me going back to bed, cos Viv will be here shortly with Lydia."

Meanwhile over in Dublin Bryan and Hannah were sat on the sofa watching a dvd,
neither of them had realized what the time was and Bryan had forgotten about the meeting,

a short while later Nicky pulled up outside of the house and walked into the sitting room, and hit Bryan on the arm to get his attention.

Hannah looked up and said "hey Nix what brings you here and where's Shane,Kian and Mark?,"

Hannah then said "i thought you were going to be in Sligo all day today so how come you've changed your mind and stayed in Dublin?."

Nicky then said "hey Han no i wasn't going to Sligo until tonight that's where Shane,Kian and Mark probably are,"

Nicky then said "they are probably at home with Claire,Bron and Creena,"

Nicky then said "i've just dropped by to remind that big dummy there, that we have the monthly meeting with Lois today at 4:30pm,"

Nicky then said "i've been at my mum's all day doing some decorating for her."

Over at the SonyBmg Dublin office Louis was talking to the new receptionist he'd hired that morning,

he'd just completed the tour of the building with Erin and was now briefing her on the meeting that he was having with Westlife in a short while,

as it would be her first chance to meet the lads.

Erin had moved to Ireland from New York 4 months ago after her relationship of 5 years had broken down,

she hoped that this would be the new start that she had been craving for,for so many years,

a couple of weeks ago she'd seen the vacancy for receptionist for SonyBmg Dublin posted in an offical announcenment in the house of westlife section on the offical westlife message boards.

Erin was glad that she had accepted the job as it now gave her a chance to meet her favourite member of westlife,

for as long as she could remember Kian Egan had always been her favourite member, there was just something about him that had immediately drawn her to him over the others.

Erin had held a dream that no one knew about and that was to eventually fall in love with Kian and marry him,

she didn't know that Kian already had a girlfriend or that they'd been together for years,or that Kian's girlfriend is Shane's twin sister Claire.

Erin also didn't know that Claire was pretty shy and didn't like being in the public eye,or that she'd asked Kian never to talk about her in the press,as she just wanted to be treated like a normal girl and not any differently just because she's the twin sister of Shane Filan or because she's dating Kian Egan.

Meanwhile Back in Sligo Mark and Creena were walking along the beach hand in hand,watching Snoopy running along the sand chasing the tide as it came in,

they sat on the sand for a few minutes just watching the dog running around like an idiot.

Mark then leant over and kised Creena softly and then in a whisper said "babe how about we bring a picnic and a blanket down here tomorrow,and just spend the whole day down here by ourselves without a care in the world?."

Creena then smiled and said "yeah babe that sounds lovely we haven't had a picnic on the beach for ages,but now i think we'd better head home so that you can get ready for this meeting with Louis,"

Creena then said "before Shane and Kian come to pick you up, and while your in Dublin with the guys i'm gonna go see my sister."

A few minutes later Mark and Creena stood up and brushed the sand off their jeans,and walked to where Snoopy was laid

Mark bent down and attached the dog's leash onto his collar and stroked him behind the ears before they turned for home.

Back at Kian and Claire's house Kian had just come out of the kitchen with 3 steaming hot mugs in his hands,

he then put his and Shane's on the coffee table and handed Claire her mug of tea,and then said "babe what did you mean that Viv will be here with Lydia shortly?."

Claire then said "Ki babe i knew you weren't listening to me the other day when you were messing around with you phone,"

Claire then said "babe i did tell you more than once that Viv was bringing Lydia over for us to look after for a few nights, while she was out of town on business and that your mum had Kiana for a few days for Gav."

Meanwhile Bronwyn was just starting her shift at Sligo general hospital,she's an accident and emergency general nurse,where as Claire is the peadiatric ward's senior sister,

so they very rarely see each other at work as they are usually on different shifts, or unless Claire's working the same shift as Bronwyn and a child is being admitted to Claire's ward.

Meanwhile over at Munster's training ground Musgrave Park in County Cork Ronan O'Gara and the rest of the team were winding down,

it had been a long training session for them but they had a very important club match coming up in a few days, and the team knew that it was a game they must win to keep their title hopes alive.

Ronan was now sat on the sidelines putting on his training jacket

soon he was lost in his thoughts,for some unknown reason for the last 5 and a half years he had been constantly thinking about a cute small blonde haired girl,that he'd met in 1998 when he'd been playing for Cork Constitution.

Flashback to 20th March 98

It was a cold wet and windy day in County Cork when he'd been warming up before the match,

for some reason he just happened to look up and saw a small blonde haired girl walk into the stadium alone,

the girl had the most beautiful hazel eyes and long dark blonde hair that he'd ever seen.

he would occassionally look into the crowd during the match and look directly at the blonde haired little stunner,who had caught his eye when she came into the stadium,and he was very surprised to see that she was completley alone

he just couldn't believe that the girl didn't have anyone with her.

He was very impressed with the girl.

he could see her gorgeous slim figure perfectly from the sideline where he was recieving treatment to a knock to the ankle,

by half time he'd decided that he was going to approach the girl and see if he could get her to talk to him.

The ref finally blew the whistle for half time and he saw the girl slowly make her down from the stand,

she was making her way over to the drink counter but she got tangled up in the crush of the home,the away supporters and players,

from where he was now standing he could check her out without her noticing what he was doing.

He was finally able to force his way through the crowd and went and stood behind the girl,

he never said anything to her as she was on the phone,but he couldn't resist giving her an appreciative glance or an appreciatrive smile when she did briefly turn around to face him.

She seemed to be fighting a loosing battle trying to keep her dress down,and keep hold of her hat at the same time while still talking on the phone,

he knew that he shouldn't laugh but he just couldn't help it and it was quite amusing to see her fighting with her dress and hat.

She'd finally given up with her hat so he grabbed it and put it behind his back,

this made her turn around and face him and then she said "erm excuse me what have you done with my hat?,i know it's not much good now but i'd like it back as it cost me a bomb for a friend's wedding 3 weeks ago."

He then brought her hat out from behind his back and said "ok so you want this soaking wet ruin back,"

he then said "you can have it back, but i want to know your name first,and i also want to know why a pretty girl like you is at a rugby match alone."

She was just about to answer him when a guy pushed his way through the crowd,and walked over to her,

the guy then kissed her on the cheek and said "sorry it took me so long to get here,i got held up in traffic,now is this fool with your hat bothering you?."

She then looked at the guy and said "no he's not bothering me at all in fact he was just returning my hat as it blew off,"

she then said "anyway forget about him cos i don't even know who he is, i knew you'd eventually get here."

she then said " so don't worry about it your here now,were the roads really that bad?."

the guy then sighed and said "yeah the roads are absouletly horrendous,it's been a nightmare all the way from Sligo."

The guy next to the girl turned to look at him and said "well thanks for returning her hat,now if you don't mind ball boy we'd like to get back to our seats before the second half starts,and if you haven't noticed it's raining quite heavily,"

the mystery guy then took the girl by the elbow and escorted her back to the stand.

He never did find out the girl's name and he never did return her soaked and ruined hat to her,
it left him confused and puzzled to know who she was, and also who the mystery guy with her was,

he was now determined to find out her name after the match,just then he returned to the pitch

just as the ref was about to blow the whistle for the start of the 2nd half.

End of Flashback to 20th March 98.

Meanwhile over in Sligo Mark and Creena were sat on the sofa with a cup of coffee,

they were waiting for Shane and Kian to come and pick him up so that they could go to this meeting with Louis,

over at Kian and Claire's house Shane looked at his watch,and then said "Ki hurry up and finish your drink."

Kian rolled his eyes at Shane and said "Shay i honestly don't know why you are rushing or why your so worried,"

Kian then said "Shay,Louis knows that we're always the last to arrive for these daft meetings that happen every month,"

Kian then said "and anyway Mark's always late getting ready for anything and you know it."

Claire started to laugh and then said "yeah Ki we all know what Mark's like but your just as bad babe,"

Claire then said "you hate being woken up early on a morning, especially if you've been out on the piss the night before,"

Claire then said "and babe you usually have a self inflicted headache after those kind of nights out,and are grumpy as hell."

Shane then burst out laughing at what Claire had just said to Kian,

Claire then turned her attention to her brother and said "yeah Shay and you can stop laughing because your just, as bad as Ki and Mark for not wanting to get up early unless you really have to,"

Claire then said "Shay i've heard about the amount of times Anto has had to drag you,Ki and Mark out of your beds."

Meanwhile over in Dublin Louis personal assistant had just arrived at the record company's office,

Grace walked over to the lifts and was about to call the lift, and go upto her office and catch up on some paper work,

when she saw Louis standing by the reception desk with a dark haired girl.

Grace then walked over to Louis and said "Mr Walsh why on earth have you called me into the office on my only day off,?"

Grace then said "and Mr Walsh it had better be a very good reason for you requiring me today,i'd only just got home from visiting my sister when i heard your message on my answer machine."

Louis then gave Grace a smile and said "Grace i'm so sorry for ruining your day off ,but i need that interview schedule for the boys,by tomorrow morning."

Louis then said " so that they know where they are going and what they are doing tomorrow,oh and before i forgot Grace i'd like you to meet Erin Henderson."

Louis then said " Erin is to be the new p.a to the guys,i just hope they respond better to Erin than they did their last p.a."

Erin then said "erm excuse me Louis i understood that i'd been employed as a receptionist,"

Erin then said "and not as westlife's personal assiatant,i thought they already had a p.a so why am i now suddenly taking on the role of their p.a?"

Erin then said " and when exactly do i start as their p.a?"

Louis smiled and then said "ah Erin i actually misled you a little bit,i didn't want to tell you what your real job was."

Louis then said " until Grace had arrived, and had given me the guys interview schedule for tomorrow,"

Louis then said "their original p.a no longer wanted to be a p.a she wanted to go back to being a receptionist, so i swapped your positions over."

Louis then said "Erin you will start to be westlife's p.a as soon as they walk through that door,this is why i want you to be in the metting with the guys,"

Louis then said "so that both you and them know what they have to do tomorrow and the next few days,"

Louis then said "Erin your job is going to be very demanding keeping them 5 in line,but i'm sure you can handle that."

A few minutes later Louis,Grace and Erin walked over to the lift,

Louis pressed the call button for the second floor and the lift soon came down,

Nicola the receptionist stepped out and smiled at the 3 of them,before they got into the lift and went upstairs to the board room.

A short while later Bryan and Nicky left the house and drove over to the record company's office,to await the arrival of Shane,Mark and Kian

none of them ever looked forward to these monthly meetings as they seemed to drag on forever, and they never really knew why Louis always insited on seeing them once a month.

Meanwhile over in Cork Ronan and the rest of the team were now changed and were planning on going for a few drinks,

Peter Stringer looked at Ronan and said "hey Ro are you coming with us for a few pints?,"

Peter then said " Ro it's not like you have to rush home, to the wife or even a girlfriend for that matter."

Ronan then said "no Peter i'm not coming for a few drinks with you guys tonight,"

Ronan then said "i'm off over to Dublin to see my sister Sarah, as i haven't seen her for a couple of months,"

Ronan then said "and thanks for reminding me once again that i'm the only single one on the team, i really appreciate it not and don't you think i'm sick of being single?."

Peter then said "woah chill out Ro i was only just saying. that your lucky that you don't have anyone to have to rush home to,"

Peter then said "like the rest of us, and Ro we all envy you cos your free to come and go as you please"

Peter then said " and your free to do what you want when you to,without getting moaned at by a woman."

Ronan then said "yeah Pete i might be free to come and go as i please and to do what i want to do,when i want to do it."

Ronan then said " but it's me who envies you guys,cos you all have some one special to go home to at the end of a long training session or a match,"

Ronan then said "and your other halves come to the matches, and that's what i want more than anything else is some one special in my life to have come and cheer me on."

Meanwhile in Sligo Claire had finished her cup of tea and had gone upstairs to have a shower and get dressed before Vivenne brought Lydia over for them to look after,

Kian and Shane were in the sitting room finishing their coffees before going to pick up Mark and then head over to Dublin for the meeting.

A few minutes later Claire back downstairs dressed in a pair of figure hugging jeans and a pink shirt,with no shoes or slippers on.

she had her long blonde hair was wrapped in a towel,

Kian then put his cup down and walked over to
Claire and pulled her closed and kissed her softly and passionately.

Kian then broke the kiss and said "right babe we've got to go his lordship there seems to be getting impatient,"

Kian then said " babe give Lydia a big kiss and cuddle for me,cos no doubt she'll be in bed by the time we get home,"

Kian then said "depending on how long this daft meeting lasts,and i love you babe see you later."

Claire then said "yeah of course i'll give Lydia a big kiss and cuddle for you,"

Claire then said "and babe you know what she's like when she stays here,she always tries to wait up for you to come home especially if she knows your only in Dublin,"

Claire then said "and i love you too babe,now you 2 move your arses and go and get Mark."

Claire then said "oh and Ki babe if this meeting drags on for hours like they usually do,and you end up coming home really late,"

Claire then said "Ki babe please try to be as quiet as you can when you come in,"

Claire then said "because i'm going to try and get an early night and get some much needed sleep,once i've got Lydia settled for the night and into bed."

Kian then said "ok babe well i'll see you later and i'll phone you, and let you know if this daft meeting is going to be over 3 hours,"

Kian then said "and babe if your already in bed asleep, when i get home then i'll be as quiet as mouse when i come in,"

Kian then said "and babe i'll see you when i come upto bed,love you sexy."

Claire then started to laugh at what Kian had just said to her,

she then said "yeah right Ki i've heard that one before about you being as quiet as a mouse,when you come in if i'm already in bed"

Claire then said " and babe i no longer take any notice of you saying it,cos you always manage to wake me up,"

Claire then said "now you 2 had better get going or Mark'll be phoning to see if you've forgotten about him, and then Louis will be phoning to see where you 3 are."

Kian then pulled Claire to him and kissed her softly again, and then released her and followed Shane out of the sitting room.

little did Kian or Claire realize that very shortly he would be meeting a woman, who would change things forever between him and Claire.

Claire had no idea that her relationship with Kian would change forever,as she had no idea that one of Kian's childhood friends had taken a fancy to her in 1998,

Claire didn't know that it was Ronan who fancied her and had done so since he'd meet her in 98, or that she'd eventually spenad a night with him while Kian was away on tour.

Just as Kian and Shane were leaving Vivienne and Lydia arrived,

Kian then said "hey sis,hi Lydia, Claire's in the sitting room,so just go straight in,"

Lydia looked at Kian and said "hello uncle Kian where are you going?,i need you to help me with a school project that's due next week."

Kian picked his niece up and gave her a kiss and a hug,and then said "little lady i've got to go to Dublin for a while,"

Kian then said "Lydia i'm sure aunty Claire can help you with your school project,if she can't then i'll help you tomorrow ok sweetie?."

Lydia then gave Kian a kiss on the cheek,and said "ok uncle Kian now put me down please,i want to see aunty Claire."

Kian then set the little girl back on the ground and she ran into the house,

Kian then continued down the path to the car.

A few minutes later Shane pulled up outside of Mark and Creena's house,Creena had seen her older brother pull up outside.

Creena then walked over to Mark and gave him a kiss,and then said "babe you'd better move your arse,Shane and Kian are outside."

Mark then said "ok babe i'm going hopefully we won't be too long,see you later and i love you babe."

Creena then walked out of the house with Mark and gave her brother a smile,she then turned to Mark and said "i love you too babe,see you later."

Meanwhile over in Dublin Bryan and Nicky were now sat in reception waiting for Shane,Kian and Mark,

Louis,Grace and Erin were now upstairs on the second floor in the conferrence room seeting up for the meeting.

Nicky looked at Bryan and said "Bry i've finally decided that i'm gonna ask Grace out today,i'm fed up with being the only single member of westlife."

Bryan then said "good luck then Nix cos you'll need it,Grace has been known to play very hard to get or so i've been told."

Nicky laughed and said "aye she might have done for other guys,but she won't be able to resist the Byrne charm."

Bryan then laughed and said "yeah yeah Nix i've heard that a thousand times,you always say that the girls won't be able to resist the Byrne charm."

A short while later Shane pulled up outside of the record company's office,

Mark and Kian went inside while Shane locked and alarmed the car.

Once Shane was finished messing around with the car,he walked into the building and flopped onto the sofa.

Chapter 2 Louis introduces the guys to their new personal assitant.

Meanwhile back in Sligo Claire and Vivienne were sat on the sofa with a cup of coffee,and Lydia was on the floor playing with her dolls.

Vivienne looked at Claire and said "hey Claire you look shattered hun,are you ok and is Ki keeping you awake all night?."

Claire laughed and said "no Viv it's got nothing to do with Ki for a change,it's just been a crazy week at work."

Claire then said "yeah i am shattered Viv but don't worry about me,i'll be fine and i'll get an early night once i get Lydia into bed."

Vivienne looked at her soon to be sister in law and said "Claire have you been working double shifts again,and are you getting much time with Ki?."

Claire then said " Viv i've worked 3 shifts back to back this week,i didn't see Ki at all over the last 2 days until i got home at 10:30 this morning."

Claire then said "and even then i only saw Ki for 10 mins this moning,until he sent me upto bed."

Claire then said "well that was until about half an hour ago, when i was rudely woken up by Ki and Shane making alot of noise."

Meanwhile over in Cork Ronan had just hit the motorway for Dublin,he was looking forward to seeing his sister and baby niece again.

Once again Ronan was soon lost in thoughts,and was once again thinking about Claire Filan.

Flashback to 7th May 98 - the make a wish foundation charity ball.

It was 8pm and he'd just arrived at the Dorchester Hotel in London for his choosen children's charity spring ball.

He was standing in the reception area with a glass of champagne,and feeling like a prat for being alone.

A few minutes later the gorgeous blonde haired girl he'd seen a couple of months earlier at a rugby match walked past him,

she was wearing a stunning blue silk evening gown and had her long hair in a french twist,she was with his childhood friend Kian.

She looked at him and gave him a shy little smile before walking off,and went and stood in the corner next to the guy he'd seen her with a the rugby match.

He was surprised to see her again as he never thought he would see her again,

He couldn't decide if she was Kian's date or if she was the guy's date that he'd seen her at the rugby match with.

He then saw Kian walk over to a dark haired girl and kiss her on the cheek,and hold out his arm to her and lead her into the dining room.

The guy with the gorgeous blonde haired girl also held out his arm to her,and they followed Kian and his date into the dining room.

He went into the dining room behind them and was surprised to find he was to be seated right opposite her.

During the meal he would occassionally glance at her,and gave her a smile whenever she did look at him.

After the meal as they were going into the ballroom,the dark haired guy approached him and said "hi my name is Shane,i believe i saw you at a Cork Con rugby match a couple of months ago."

He then said "hi Shane yes you and your date did see me at a Cork con rugby match a few months ago,you're a lucky guy to have a gorgeous girl like her on your arm."

Shane laughed and said "ah no your mistaken the girl you saw me with at the match isn't my girlfriend,i'd like to meet you to my sister."

He then said "i know who you are,your are friends with my childhood friend Kian Egan,and my name is Ronan."

Shane then motioned for the blonde girl to come over to them,which she did and Shane then said "Ronan this is my twin sister Claire,she is Kian's girlfriend."

End of Flashback to 7th My 98 - the make a wish foundation charity ball.

Meanwhile in Dublin Sarah was busy tidying the sitting room up before Adam got home from his mum's,she didn't know that Ronan was on his way over.

Hannnah had gone to the supermarket to do the weekly shop,the lads were still sat in the reception area of the record company;'s office.

A few minutes later Grace came down to the reception and walked over to the lads,and said "ok guys
Louis will see you now,to run through tomorrow's schedule with you and to introduce you to your new p.a."

Mark rolled his eyes and said "oh great yet another new p.a,what the hell is Louis doing to the p.a's?."

Bryan then said "we seem to be going through p.a's quicker than any other band,this is the 4th one we'll have had in 6 months."

Shane,Nicky and Kian then in unsion said "Mark and Bryan stop bloody moaning and move your arses,the sooner we start this meeting the sooner it'll end and then we can all go home again."

the 5 lads slowly got up from their seats and followed Grace over to the lifts,Nicky hit the call button and the lift came down.

The six of them stepped into the lift and went upto the 2nd floor,the whole time they were in the lift

Nicky never loosened his grip on the hand rail.

A few minutes later the lift stopped on the 2nd floor,and the 6 of them got out of the lift and walked down the long corridoor to the conference room.

As they were walking along the corridoor Kian couldn't help but look at the pretty dark haired girl in front of him,and occassionally giving her an appreciative smile.

Claire had no idea that her relationship with Kian would change forever,as she had no idea that one of Kian's childhood friends had taken a fancy to her in 1998,
Claire didn't know that it was Ronan who fancied her and had done so since he'd meet her in 98, or that she'd eventually spenad a night with him while Kian was away on tour.

Oh no, Erin wants to steal Claire's Kian. :( Poor Ronan, he loves Claire but she's already taken. :( Btw does Kian and Claire have a daughter (Lydia)? Or am I misstaken?

no the little girl called lydia is kian's niece we're looking after her for a few days told u things we're gonna get messy and ugly jake :p lol at erin wanting my man and ronan wanting me i can see this getting pretty nasty pretty fast lol i know nicky doesn't like lifts i know how nicky feels about lifts cos i don't like them either

the reason why i gave part of what's gonna happen away in that add is because it's gonna happen soon  and to tease u all  with it because only i know when and how it's gonna happen ;)

Every so often Shane would notice where Kian's attention was going,he then said in a whisper "oi Kian quit that now,don't forget i know about the affair you had 3 years ago or even about the other affair before Nicola is it any wonder why we can't keep p.a's with you around?."

Kian then in a whisper said "Shane i'm not doing any harm and i know you haven't forgotten about the affair,i had 3 years ago or that you won't let me forget it."

Shane then in a whisper said "bloody right Kian i won't let you forget it,you cheated on my sister and i kept your secret to myself for your sake."

Shane then in a whisper said "but i'm warning you now Kian if you do it again,i will tell Claire about the affair you had with Nicola for 3 years."

Kian then in a whisper said "shut up Shane we both know you wouldn't tell Claire,you've kept quiet for too long to say anything to her now."

Kian then in a whisper said "and anyway Shay Claire wouldn't believe you even if you did tell her.she'd think you were making it up."

Shane then in a whisper said "Ki don't be so stupid Claire would believe me,you know how close we are and it's not the first time you've cheated on her."

Shane then in a whisper said "Kian both times that you've cheated on Claire i've kept my mouth shut,only because i didn't want to see my sister hurt and i still don't want to see her hurt so you'd better think about keeping it in your trousers where it belongs."

Nicky,Mark and Bryan were looking suspiciously at Shane and Kian,they all hated it when them 2 started talking in whispers.

Bryan then said "hey you 2 what are you talking about,and were you 2 never told it's rude to whisper?."

Shane then said "sorry Bry we weren't talking about you,Nix or Mark,it was something of a personal matter between me and Ki."

They all arrived in the conference room and sat down around the large oak oval table,Louis then pressed a button and said "Nicola bring up a tray of coffee please."

A few minutes later Nicola arrived with the tray of coffee and set it on the table,and quickly scurried out of the room avoiding Kian's gaze.

Louis then said "good afternoon lads i hope you are all well,firstly i'd like to introduce you to your new personal assitant her name is Erin."

The lads then in unison said "hi Erin and welcome to joining our team,i guess Louis has told you that you'll have your work cut out with us."

Erin looked at the 5 lads and smiled nervously at them,she just couldn't believe that she was sat in the same room as westlife or even going to be working with them.

Grace then handed Louis a piece of paper,Louis looked at the piece of paper and said "lads you have an interview on GMTV and this morning tomorrow."

Louis then said "then you are off to bbc radio 1 to do a live phone in with the fans,i need to inform you that there's a competition for 2 lucky fans to meet you running and the winners will be announced during this live phone in that you'll be doing."

Nicky then said "ok Louis we can do that no problem,now what else have you got planned for us tomorrow?."

Louis then said "ok guys you'll be surprising the lucky fans by turning up in a limo,and taking them to lunch at the Savoy hotel."

Grace then said "guys after the lunch with the 2 fans,you will then be going on a mini radio tour to promote the new album."

Louis then said "then you have a movie premiere to attend tomorrow night so suits please guys,Kian and Nicky have you 2 got dates for tomorrow night?."

Kian looked at Louis and smiled but said nothing,Nicky then said "Louis you know i hate these things,cos i'm always the one without a date."

Louis then sighed and then said "yes Nicky i know you hate these things,Grace will be your date for this premiere tomorrow night."

Meanwhile back in Sligo Vivenne gave Claire a hug and said "right hun i'm off home,i still need to pack and Lydia be good for aunty Claire and uncle Kian."

Claire then said "Viv don't worry about Lydia hun,she's always on her best behaviour when she stays with me and Ki."

Lydia then got up off the floor and gave her mum a hug and a kiss,and then said "bye bye mummy i'll be very good,and i'll see you in a few days."

Vivenne then walked out of the sitting room and out of the house,just as Creena came in.

Creena then shouted "hey sis what have you got planned for tonight,and where are you hiding?."

Claire then came out of the sitting room and said "hey sis i'm looking after Lydia for a few days for Viv,what brings you here?."

Creena then said "sis i thought we could go to the cinema tonight and watch a chick flick,while the lads are in Dublin."

Claire then said "no i don't think so sis i've got to much to do here,and anyway i want an early night as i'm tired after working 3 straight shifts back to back."

Just then Lydia came out of the sitting room and tugged on Claire's jeans and said "aunty Claire will you please make your lovely fish pie,for dinner tonight?."

Claire laughed and said "Lydia you know i don't make the fish pie when uncle Kian's working,maybe i'll do it tomorrow night when uncle Kian's home ok."

Lydia then said "oh ok aunty Claire will you make your small cottage pies tonight then for dinner?,and uncle Kian can have his when he comes home."

Claire then said "yeah ok sweetheart but we'll have to go to the supermarket first,and get the ingredients and i want to pick up something for you."

Creena then said "i'll catch you later then sis,i'm gonna head over to mum's as i haven't seen her for 2 weeks."

Claire then said "ok sis and sorry for letting you down,we'll do something together at the weekend how about you come to the rugby match with me?."

Creena then said "yeah that sounds like a good idea sis,i'll come and pick you up on saturday at 12 and we'll drive over to Dubs and do some shopping before the match."

Claire then said "ok sis see you on saturday,Lydia sweetie go and get your shoes and coat on and grab my car keys off the table please."

Creena then said "sis it sounds like your going to have a busy few days,with Lydia here while Viv's away."

Claire then sat down on the stairs and pulled on her socks and trainers,and then said "sis we always have a busy few days,when Lydia stays with us."

Claire then noticed Creena's small bump and then said "wow congrats sis how far along are you?,aww i'm gonna be an aunty again."

Creena then said "sis i'm 4 months gone and i found out a month ago,mum wants to know when you and Ki are going to give her grandchildren."

Claire sighed and then said "sis that's a sore point between me and Ki,i want children and he doesn't want them yet."

Claire then said "sis every month for the last 5 years i've asked Ki when he wants to start a family,and the answer i always get back is i don't."

Over at the hospital Bronwyn was now 3 hours into her shift,and was feeling sick again which was nothing surprising as she's pregnant with her 2nd child.

Bronwyn and Shane have been married for 5 years and already have a 4 year old daughter,she is 6 months into her 2nd pregnancy and they know they are having a boy.

While Bronwyn was on her break Kat the ward manager came into the staff room,and said "Bron if you don't feel very well then go home,we can cope without you."

Bronwyn then said "ok thanks Kat i think i'd better go home,and try and get some sleep this little guy kept me awake half the night."

Bronwyn then picked up her bag and car keys and walked out of the staff room,and out of the building and over to her car and drove home.

Meanwhile back in Dublin Sarah was still busy tidying up the sitting room,when the door bell rang so she threw the duster down and went to answer the door.

Sarah opened the door and was surprised to see Ronan stood there with a bouquet of daffodils,and a pink teddy bear for Linzi.

Brother and sister gave each other a hug and then went into the sitting room,where Sarah put the flowers into a vase and the teddy bear in the crib.

In the city centre Hannah had just finished the shopping,and had bumped into Nicky's sister Sammy so they went to a nearby coffee shop and had a cup of coffee.

A few minutes later the girls finished their drinks,and then went back to Bryan and Hannah's house and watched some romcomedy's on dvd.

The meeting was still going on in the conference room,the lads were now getting bored and so was Grace and Erin listening to Louis waffling on.

Shane then looked at his watch and said "Louis is this meeting going to go on much longer?,it's 7:30 now and like you said we have to be up early in the morning."

Louis then said "oh yeah sorry guys no there's nothing else to say to you,now go home and enjoy your evenings."

The lads then got up from the table and went to leave the room,Louis then said "Kian before you disappear home come to my office now,i need a word with you."

Kian looked at the lads and then at Louis and rolled his eyes,and then said "ok Louis but can't you just say whatever you need to say to me,in front of the lads?."

Louis then said "no Kian i can't say what i need to say to you in front of the lads,as it's private and i'm getting fed up with reading rumours about you in the press."

Mark,Bryan and Nicky then in unison said "oh oh Egan what have you done now for the gaffa,to be wanting to talk to you in private."

Shane looked at Nicky,Mark and Bryan and rolled his eyes,he had an idea what Louis wanted to speak to Kian about privately.

Mark then said "come on Shay we'll head over the road and wait for Kian in the bar,then we'll head back to Sligo."

Mark,Shane,Nicky,Bryan,Erin and Grace left the room,and Kian followed Louis down to his office.

Erin was about to leave the building when Nicola looked up and said "Erin just a friendly bit of advice,steer well clear of Kian as he's trouble."

Erin looked at Nicola and said "excuse me but what the hell are you on about?,and i can't exactly avoid Kian when i'm working with the guys every day."

Nicola then sighed and said "Erin i don't know who your faveourite of the guys is,but keep your distance from Kian like i said he's trouble."

Erin was now getting frustrated and then said "oh for goodness sake Nicola what are you talking about,and why is Kian trouble?."

Nicola then said "Erin do you realize that Kian has a long term girlfriend?,and the reason i know Kian's trouble is becaue we had an affair a couple of years ago."

Erin then said "Nicola don't be so stupid of course Kian hasn't got a long term girlfriend,and now i know your talking rubbish by saying you've had an affair with him."

Just then the 4 lads came down stairs and into the reception area,Shane then said "Erin i guess you have a soft spot for Kian,and what Nicola's told you is true Kian does have a long term girlfriend she's my twin sister Claire and they've been together for 15 years."

Chapter 3 Louis gets Kian to call a press confrence to put an end to rumours.

Erin then looked at Shane and said "i don't believe that at all,why has Kian never once said that he has a girlfriend?."

Nicky then said "Erin the reason that Kian's never mentioned his girlfriend,is because Claire is very shy and she hates any media attention."

Shane then said "my sister keeps herself to herself,and ever since 1998 she's asked Kian to never publicly talk about her."

Erin then said "oh come on guys if Kian was dating Shane's sister,then surely all the fans would have at least seen one pic of Claire."

Mark then said "the fans have seen Claire with Kian on the very rare occassions,that she's had to attend something with him."

Shane then said "Erin both Kian and i have tried our hardest,to prevent the fans taking photos of my sister."

Shane then pulled out his wallet and showed Erin a photograph of him,Bronwyn,Claire and Kian at a family party.

Shane then said "the girl in the blue trouser suit is my sister Claire,and the girl in the black dress is my wife Bronwyn."

Meanwhile in Sligo Claire and Lydia had just arrived home from the supermarket,and were in the kitchen putting the shopping away.

Claire then said "Lydia i don't feel like doing cottage pie tonight for dinner,so how do you fancy a pizza instead?."

Lydia then said "ok aunty Claire that's fine,do you know if uncle Kian will be home before i go to bed?."

Claire then said "Lyds i have no idea what time uncle Kian will get home,now which pizza do you want tuna and sweetcorn or ham and pineapple?."

Lydia then said "ham and pineapple please,after dinner can i share a shower with you i don't like going in on my own."

Claire then said "no Lyds you're not having a shower with me,you can have a bath like i always make you have when you're here."

Lydia went into the sitting room and put the tv on,Claire then took the pizza out of the freezer and put it in the oven.

Claire then made herself a cup of coffee,and then walked out into the hallway and took her cigarettes out of her jacket pocket.

Claire then shouted "Lydia if you want me sweetie,i'll be stood on the doorstep having a cigarette."

Creena was over at their parents house,having dinner with Mae,Peter,Liam,Finabarr and Peter.

Mae always liked to have her children all gathered together for dinner,as often as they could make it.

Over in Dublin Sammy and Hannah were stuffing themselves on junk food,and were now watching Grease when Bryan came in.

Bryan then said "hi babe hi Sam,Nix'll be along shortly,he's jsut talking to Louis's p.a Grace."

Sammy then said "oh god Bry please tell me,that my brother isn't trying his famous Byrne chat up line on Grace."

Bryan then said "no Sam he's not yet,they are talking about a movie premiere we're going to tomorrow night."

Hannah then said "well that's a good job i went shopping today,and i bought new dress oh and your dinner's in the microwave."

In Louis's office Kian said "ok Louis what do you want me for?,i want to get home to Claire at some point tonight."

Louis then said "Kian this is exactly what i want to talk to you about,these persistent rumours that you're gay."

Louis then said "Kian i need you to issue a press statement,setting the record straight that you're not gay and that you have a girlfriend and have been together for 15 years."

Kian then said "Louis,Claire really isn't going to like this,you know how much she hates being in the public eye."

Louis then said "yes Kian i know Claire's not going to like it,but i don't care because i'm fed up of constantly reading these bloody rumours about you."

Kian then sigh and said "ok Louis i'll do it,even though i don't like the idea of bringing Claire into the public eye."

Louis then said "Kian you don't need to name Claire,all you have to say is that you want to set the record straight and that your not gay and that you have a girlfriend of 15 years."

Kian sighed and then picked up a pen and piece of paper,and wrote: Ladies and Gentlemen of the press and to all the wonderful and loyal fans of westlife.

I'd like to set the record straight about my love life,for the past few years i've been aware of the rumours that have been circulating about me in the press.

Firstly i'd like to say that the rumours about me being gay,are complete and utter rubbish and i have no idea where they started.

Secondly i'd like to say that i do have a girlfriend,i've never publicly spoken about my girlfriend as she is a very private person and hates the media attention.

I have been with my girlfriend for 15 years,she is the love and the light of my life and i'd be lost without her by my side.

So inconclusion i just need to tell my beautiful girlfriend,that i love her so much and i can't wait for the day she finally becomes Mrs Egan.

At this moment in time i'm not prepared to say anything more about my girlfriend,so please respect my decsicion to keep my girlfriend's idenity private.

Kian then handed Louis the press statement and said "right there you go,i've done what you asked me to now i'm going home."

Shane and Mark walked out of the building and went into Rafferty's bar across the street to wait for Kian.

The 2 lads went and stood by the bar,while Shane was getting their drinks Mark looked up and said "hey Shay i wonder what Louis wants Kian for?."

Shane then handed Mark a pint of Coke,and said "Mark have you not seen the rumours in the papers,over the last couple of years about Kian being gay?."

Mark then said "yeah i've seen them stupid rumours Shay,and i've never taken any notice of them cos we all know they aren't true."

Just then Kian came into the bar,and didn't look very happy.

Kian then said "guys i wish Walsh would bloody get off my case,he's only got me to issue a press statement denying i'm gay and telling everyone about Claire."

Shane and Mark then in unison said "oh god Claire's not gonna like that one little bit,she's gonna go mad with Louis over this."

Kian then said "guys i've not named Claire,all i've told the press is that no i'm not gay and that i have a girlfriend of 15 years."

Shane then said "well Ki i suppose that's one good thing that you haven't named Claire,cos it means she won't be constantly hassled by the press or the fans."

Meanwhile in the record company's office Nicky looked at Grace,and said "Grace would you like to come for a drink with me?,i really like you and i'd like to get to know you better."

Grace then said "yeah sure Nicky i'd like that,but only on the condition i pay for my own drinks."

Nicky then gave Grace that famous Byrne smile and said "ok deal now let's go,and no we're not going over the road."

Nicky then said "i'm going to take you to my favourite bar/restaurant,it's called O'Malley's and it's a nice quiet place."

Grace then picked up her jacket and bag,and followed Nicky out to his car and soon they were heading to the restaurant.

Erin had just left the building and was about to head home,when Kian came out of the bar over the road.

Kian then shouted "hey Erin if you're not in any rush to get home,why don't you come over here and have a couple of drinks with me,Shane and Mark?."

Erin then said "erm yeah ok Kian but it'll only have to be 2,as we all have a very early start in the morning."

Bryan was in the kitchen warming his dinner up,Sammy and Hannah were in the sitting room watching dirty dancing.

Sammy then said "Hannah hun i've got to get going soon,i've got to be up for 5 in the morning as i'm flying to Edinburgh."

Hannah then said "ok hun i guess i'll see you in a couple of days,and we need to have a girls night out soon."

Sammy then gave Hannah a hug and said "yeah you will hun,and yeah you're right we do need a night out soon it's been ages since we had one."

Adam,Sarah and Ronan were sat down to dinner,Sarah suddenly looked at Ronan and said "hey bro when are we gonna see you with a girl on your arm?."

Adam then said "yeah Ro it's been far to long,since we've seen you with a girlfriend it's about time you found some one."

Ronan laughed and said "i know it's been to long since i had a girlfriend,there is someone that i fancy but it's very complicated."

Sarah then said "oh this sounds interesting bro,we want the lady's name and when and where you met her."

Ronan then said "i'm not gonna name her,all i'm gonna say is that i first met her 5 and a half years ago at a rugby match."

Meanwhile in Sligo Bronwyn had just arrived home,and went into the sitting room with a cup of coffee and sat on the sofa.

A few minutes later Bronwyn heard a knock on the door,so she got up off the sofa and went to answer it.

Bronwyn opened the door and was surprised to see Liam stood on the doorstep with Andrea.

Liam then said "hey Bron hunnie the little lady was asking for you and Shane,so i thought i'd bring her home to her daddy."

Bronwyn then picked up her daughter and kissed her dark hair,and then set on the round and said "Liam i've just got home from work,Shane's not home yet i guess his meeting has over ran again."

Claire had Lydia bathed and in bed by 8pm,she was now sat on the sofa reading a book and waiting for Kian to come home.

A few minutes later Claire got up off the sofa,and picked her phone up from the wall unit where it was charging.

Claire then sent Kian a text,the text read:Hey babe i guess.
Tht u guys r still in the meeting?.
Do u knw how much longer u'll be?.
I'm going up2 bed nw c u when u get home.
Love ya.

Claire then went upstairs into her's and Kian's room,and got her pj's on and then sat reading for a while.

Soon Claire was nodding off with the book still open on her lap,so she put her book on the bedside table and turned the light out.

Creena was still at their parents home,she was now in the kitchen helping her mother to wash and dry the dishes.

Mae then looked at her youngest child and said "Creena i'm worried about Claire,she seems to be constantly working all the time."

Creena then said "yeah i know what you mean mum,when i saw Claire earlier she looked very tired and she said she hadn't had much sleep."

Mae then said "Creena one of these days Claire is going to wear herself out,working the hours she does."

Peter looked at his wife and daughter and said "Creena maybe you could have a word with Kian,and get him to get Claire to reduce her work hours."

Creena then said "i doubt if that'll do any good da,both Kian and Claire love their jobs and anyway Claire's short staffed."

Meanwhile back in Dublin Kian heard his phone beep,so he pulled it from his pocket and read the text from Claire.

Kian didn't bother to reply to the text,as he was to busy eyeing Erin up much to the annoyance of Shane.

Nicky and Grace were now seated in a quiet corner of the restaurant,and were waiting for their meals to be brought over.

Hannah and Bryan were watching friends on tv,and relaxing with a bottle of wine before going to bed.

Sammy was now at home packing her things for her business trip tomorrow,she then went and had a shower before going to bed and falling into a deep sleep.

Ronan was still at Adam and Sarah's house,they had just finished dinner and now Ronan was preparing to head home.

Sarah then gave her brother a hug and said "thanks for the surprise visit Ro,and also for the flowers and teddy bear.

Ronan then gave Sarah a hug back and kissed her on the cheek,and then walked over to the crib and gently kissed Linzi on her forehead.

Ronan then picked up his jacket and car keys and left the house and got into his car,and drove over to the other side of the city.
A short while after Shane,Mark, Kian and Erin arrived at the pub.

Ronan walked in and went and sat by the bar,where the 3 guys and the dark haired girl where sat.

Shane and Mark were the only ones who were not drinking alcohol,as they were driving.

Shane and Mark sat and watched,Kian and Ronan get slowly drunk.
Before Erin left the pub and headed back to her appartment she gave Kian a piece of paper with her mobile number on it,and then in a whisper said "call or text me any time and i'll see you bright and early in the morning."
Kian then gave her his mobile number and in a whisper said "ok Erin i will call and text you,but don't call or text me when i'm at home as she might pick up my phone and read my messages."

The 5 of them stayed in the bar until 9:30pm.

Shane then looked at his watch and said "right come on Ki we are going now."

Shane then said "me,you and Mark all,have to be up early in the morning."

Kian then said "but it's still early yet Shane,and besides that daft cow won't mind me staying a bit longer."

That was enough to piss Shane off,he hated hearing anyone call his sister's names.

Shane then said "no Kian you are not staying any longer."

Shane then said "and my sister is not a daft cow,and you've had far to much to drink."

Mark then looked at Ronan and said "hey Ro mate,don't you think you'd better quit drinking for the night?."

Mark then said "and anyway Ro,don't you have to be up early in the morning?."

Ronan then said "yeah i've got to be up early,in the morning Mark."

Ronan then said "but i don't have to rush home to anyone,so i'll have one more then go home."

Mark then said "no i don't think so Ronan,you are as pissed as Kian."

Mark then said "you are coming back,to mine for the night."

Shane and Mark then grabbed hold of Ronan and Kian by their arms,and dragged them out to their cars.
Shane dumped Kian into the front passenger seat of his car.

Shane then helped Mark to get Ronan,into the passenger seat of Mark's car.

A few minutes later Shane and Mark drove away,with their 2 drunk passengers.

10 minutes later Shane pulled up outside of Claire and Kian's house.

Shane then unfastened Kian's seatbelt,and pulled him up the path and into the house.

Once they were inside,and Kian was safely on the sofa.

Shane shouted "Claire we are back,sorry that we are so late sis."

Just then Claire appeared at the top of the stairs.

Claire then said "Shay why are you 2 back so late?,and quieten down a little because Lydia is asleep."

Shane then said "we stopped off,for what should have been one quick drink."

Shane then said "but you know,what Ki's like when he starts drinking."

Claire then came down the stairs,and looked at her brother.

Claire then said "yeah i know what,he's like when he starts drinking."

Claire then said "bro thanks for bringing him home."

Claire then said "Shay how much has,he had to drink exactly tonight?."

Shane then looked at his twin and said "sis i honestly don't know,how much he's had to drink."

Shane then said "i lost count after his 6th pint."

Claire then rolled her eyes and said "oh great now he is going, to be in a really shitty mood."

Claire then said "and he'll take it out on me."

Shane then said "sorry sis Mark and i did try to stop him,but he just wouldn't listen."

Shane then walked out of the sitting room,and out of the house.

Shane then back into his car and drove home to Bronwyn.

Kian then stumbled over to Claire and said "why the hell is this room in such a mess?."

Kian then said "it was nice and tidy when i left,now it's a bloody disgarce."

Kian then said "Claire get this room tidied up,and get it done now,you stupid bitch."

Claire looked at Kian with fear in her eyes.

She had never seen him in this way before.

Claire then said "Ki babe i'm sorry,that the room is in such a mess."

Claire then said "it's only Lydia's toys lying,around i'll tidy up now."

Kian started to stumble and then said "Claire i don't care why it's in a mess,just get it tidied up right now."

Claire then said "for god's sake Ki babe keep your voice down,Lydia is in bed and i don't want her woken up."
Kian then staggered towards Claire with his hand raised as if to hit her and then fell in a drunken heap on the sofa,
Claire removed his shoes and jacket and then switched the light out and went back upto bed as she wasn't in the mood for dealing with Kian in this state.
Claire was shocked that Kian had even considered hitting her,she was thankful that he hadn't actually managed to get to her and that he had landed on the sofa.
Claire then got back into bed and let the tears fall she was scared of Kian in this mood,it was the first time she'd ever seen him this drunk in the 15 years that they had been together and she didn't like what she'd seen.
A few minutes later Claire heard Kian stumbling in the hallway and then heard him come up the stairs,she pretended to be asleep when he opened the door to their room to avoid another confronation but it didn't work.
Kian then staggered over to bed and sat down heavily and caught hold of Claire by her wrist and said "babe i'm sorry for scaring you like that,it won't ever happen again i promise you."
Claire then looked at Kian and said "Ki i don't want to hear it,it's late and i'm very tired and you've really frightened me i think you should go to your mum's for a few days and calm down i don't want you around me or Lydia when you're in this mood."
Kian didn't answer Claire instead he got up off the bed and walked over to the wardrobe and pulled down the bag he uses when he's on tour and threw some clothes into it,and then turned to face Claire and said "baby i love you and i'm sorry."
Kian then quietly left the room and went back downstairs and opened the front door and quietly closed it behind him,but instead of going to his mum's he went over to Shane and Bronwyn's house to give himself and Claire some space.
Once Claire was sure that Kian had gone she went downstairs and into the sitting room,and left the lights off and sat on the sofa with the tv on low.
When Kian arrived at Shane and Bronwyn's house.

Shane came to the door,and said "hey Ki what are you doing here?,you should be at home with Claire."

Kian couldn't look at Shane he felt so ashamed of what he had done,to the girl that he loves.

With his head down Kian said "erm hi Shay i had a go at Claire,for the sitting room being in a mess."

Kian then said "and she threw me out."

Kian then said "can i crash here for a while?,i couldn't face going to my mum's."

Shane then said "yeah of course you can crash here for a while,now get inside."

Shane then moved aside and let Kian in.

When the 2 of them walked into the sitting room.

Bronwyn looked at her twin brother,with a puzzled expression in her eyes.

Bronwyn then put her book down and said "excuse me Shane but what is Kian doing here?,he should be with Claire."

Shane then looked at Bronwyn and said "babe Kian is here, because Claire has thrown him out."

Shane then said "i think they have had an arguement."

Bronwyn then looked at her brother again.

Bronwyn then said "oh god Kian what the hell,have you done now you bloody idiot?."

Kian then looked at his sister and said "Bron i don't, really want to talk about it."

Kian then said "like Shay said,we had an arguement and Claire threw me out."

Meanwhile over in Dublin Nicky and Grace had left the restaurant and were now heading back to Nicky's house.

A few minutes later they pulled up outside of the house,Nicky then got out of the car and opened Grace's door and helped her out then locked and alarmed the car and then led her up the path and into the house and into the sitting room.

Nicky then went into the kitchen and made tem both a cup of coffee,he just couldn't believe how lucky
he was to have found a girl as gorgeous and as sweet and kind and caring as Grace and he was determined not to let her walk out of his life.

A few minutes later Nicky returned to the sitting room with 2 steaming mugs and handed one to Grace and said "i've had a lovely evening tonight,i was wndering if we could go out again another night?."

Grace then smiled and said "Nicky tonight was incredible and yes i'd love to go out with you again another night."

Nicky smiled but didn't say anything instead he just took Grace's cup off her and set it down on the table,and kissed her softly before scooping her into his arms and carrying her upto his bedroom.

Meanwhile back in Sligo over at Mark and Creena's house.

Ronan just couldn't stop fidgeting,and couldn't sit still.

Ronan then looked at Mark and said "Mark i'm going,to go for a walk."

Ronan then said "to try and clear my head,i'll see you and Creena later."

Before Mark could say anything,Ronan got up off the sofa.

And then he went into the hallway,and took his jacket from the coat rack.

Ronan then left the house shutting,the door quitely behind him.

Ronan then headed over to,Claire and Kian's house.

He wanted to see if Claire and Kian were ok.

As soon as Ronan arrived at Claire and Kian's.

He knocked on the door,but got no answer so he took the spare key from his pocket and let himself in.

Ronan found the house in darkness,but he soon found Claire in the sitting room sat in the dark watching tv.

Meanwhile over at Shane and Bronwyn's house,they had just gone upto bed.

Leaving Kian in the sitting room,with his thoughts.

Once Kian was sure that Shane or Bronwyn,wouldn't be coming back into the sitting room.

He grabbed his mobile and scrolled,through his contacts until he reached Erin's number.

Kian then sent a text to Erin,the text read:
Hi Erin I can't wait 2 c u 2morrow
.What r u doing nw?.
I'll c u in the morning
Sleep well
Kian x.

Meanwhile over in Dublin Erin was now at her apartment sat on the sofa watching tv,when she heard her mobile beep in her bag so she pulled it out and smiled when she saw that she had a text from Kian.

Erin then sent kian a text back,the text read:Hi Kian had a great nyt 2nyt with u and the guys.I'm @ home sat on the sofa watching tv. Can't wait to see u 2morrow,wht r u doing nw?. I'll c u in the morning. Ttys E.

A few minutes later Erin got up off the sofa and went into the kitchen and made herself a drink and something to eat,and after her meal went upto bed with a smile on her face thinking about Kian.

Meanwhile back in Sligo over at Claire and Kian's house Ronan walked over to Claire,and said "hi hun,is everything ok?."

Without looking at him Claire then said "yes Ronan everything is ok,what brings you here anyway?."

Ronan then sat down on the sofa beside Claire.

Ronan then said "hun i've come over,to see if you and Kian are ok."

Ronan then said "and to make sure,that Kian got home safely."

Claire then turned to face Ronan,and as soon as Claire turned her head to look at him.

Ronan could immediately see that Claire had been crying and was concerned,and then he said "never mind Kian getting home safely, hun i can see that your not ok."

Claire then gave him a small smile and said "Ronan don't worry about me i'm fine,and i was crying cos of the movie i watched just before you came over."

Ronan knew straight away that Claire was lying about why she'd been crying,and that something must have happened between her and Kian and then he said "oh come off it Claire hun,i know your lying so you might as well tell me the truth.."

Ronan then said "anyway hun where's Kian and why the hell are you sat down here alone and in the dark?."

Claire then said "oh for god's sake Ro if you really need to know Kian and i had a massive arguement earlier on,he went to hit me so i throw him out."

Claire then said "when Shane brought him back here after their meeting in Dublin with Louis,Kian was very drunk and had ago at me about the state of the room and he was behaving very strangely and i'd never once seen him in that mood before in the entire 15 years we've been together."

Ronan then said "yeah Kian was acting weirdly earlier on when i bumped into the guys in a bar in Dublin,he was talking to some girl most of the night."

Claire then said "that doesn't surprise me that Kian was talking to a girl,he usually does talk to the fans quite often when the lads are out together and i sent him to his mum's so he could calm down as he'd really frightened me but whether he's gone there or not i don't know and right now i don't really care either."

Ronan then said "hey hun i know this isn't any of my business but are things ok between you and Kian?,and you don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

Claire then sighed and said "no not really Ro things are not ok with me and Kian,he seems to becoming more and more distant with me i want children but he doesn't seem to want them and now i'm starting to wonder if we have a future any more."

Ronan then said "why what's wrong between you 2,and have you spoken to him about it?."

Claire then said "yeah i've tried to speak to him but he seems to block me out,and goes into his own world where i can't reach him and i can't put my finger on what's actually wrong between us or even why he's reluctant to have children."

Ronan then said "i'll bloody kill Kian for,this when i get my hands on the little shit."

Claire looked at Ronan in horror and said "no Ro you can't ever tell anyone about this,least of all Shane."

Claire then said "Ro if Shane ever finds out about this,then he will do something nasty to Kian."

Ronan then said "ok i won't say anything this time,but just how many times has Kian gone to hit you over the years?."

Claire then said "once and that was when he went to hit me tonight,he's never attempted to hit me before now."

Over at Mark and Creena's house,they were sat watching a dvd.

When Creena turned to look at Mark,and said "babe where's Ronan gone?."

Mark then said "babe Ro said something about going for a walk,to try and clear his head and said he'd see us later."

Chapter 4 Claire makes a mistake and immediately regrets it.

Ronan then scooped Claire into his arms and carried her up the stairs,and into her's and Kian's bedroom.

Once inside the room Ronan kicked the door shut,and then walked over to the bed and gently laid Claire on it.

Ronan then began to slowly undress her,and then he removed his own clothes.

Ronan then pulled the covers down and placed Claire into the bed,and then got in beside her.

Ronan then began to trail soft butterfly kisses down her neck and continued down her body.

Ronan then started to tease her a little before resuming,his trail of kisses down her body.

Claire then slipped out from underneath him,and pushed him back against the bed.

She then slowly began to trail kisses down his body.

Once Claire was comfortable Ronan softly kissed her again before,rolling her onto her side and giving her a massage.

A few minutes later Ronan once again flipped Claire onto her back and continued to trailed kisses down her body.

Once he had finished trailing kisses,down her body he slowly and gently made love to her.

Claire arched her back,and let out a liitle groan of pleasure.

Ronan looked up and smiled and said "so you like this hun,maybe i should do it for a little longer."

Soon they were wrapped up in each other's arms,gently making love.

Claire was now running her hands down his back.

Claire then in a whisper said "Ro you are so gentle not like Kian,and you don't hurt me."

Ronan then in a whisper said "well that's the whole point of love making to be gentle,and for your partner to enjoy it as much as you do."

Ronan then slightly shifted their position to make sure that Claire was fully comfortable.

Claire then gave a little mumur,and kissed Ronan's neck.

For the next 3 hours they continued to make love,in different positions and in the shower.

When they were finished making love,they fell asleep in each other's arms.

When Claire awoke at 6am the next morning.

She was horrified to see Ronan lying,next to her in her's and Kian's bed.

A few minutes later Ronan woke up,and sat up in the bed next to Claire.

Ronan smiled then said "good morning,beautiful little lady."

Claire then said "erm yeah morning Ronan,last night was a mistake."

Claire then said "and it shouldn't of happened,and it won't ever happen again."

Claire then said "you are one of Kian's best friends,and i'm Kian's fiancee.

They both got out of bed,Claire pulled on her dressing gown and headed downstairs to make some coffee.

Ronan then headed into the bathroom,and started to run the shower.

While he was waiting for the shower to heat up.

Ronan then said to himself "oh my god i can't,believe that i slept with Claire last night."

Ronan then said to himself "oh hell Claire could end up pregnant,we didn't even use any precautions."

A few minutes later Ronan got out of the shower,and went back into the bedroom and got dressed.

Ronan then went downstairs to join Claire.

When Ronan came downstairs,he found Claire in the kitchen.

She was sitting at the dining table,with a cup of coffee in one hand and a cigarette in the other.

Ronan then looked at Claire and said "hun i'm ever so sorry about last night."

Ronan then said "i know it shouldn't have happened,but it did."

Claire didn't answer him,instead she just handed him a cup of coffee and a cigarette.

Ronan lit the cigarette,and slowly drank his coffee.

He kept looking at Claire,and saw tears in her eyes.

So he went to give her a hug.

Claire pushed him away and finished her coffee.

Once she was finished drinking her coffee,and smoking her cigarette.

Claire looked at him and in a quiet voice said "Ro when you are finished you'd better leave."

Claire then said "before anyone sees you,and gets the wrong idea and tells Kian."

Claire then got up from the table and went and opened the front door and brought the morning's paper in,and went back into the kitchen and sat down at the table with the paper.

oh dear this is very messy lol kian can't keep his thing in his pants and now ronan's just slept with me tht's not gonna go down very well with kian
