I'm sure that you all is eager to start posting but, I've something important to say. I'm sure that some people are not comfortable with reading slash or adult fics so when you post a fic of that type please post them under Adult Fan fics.
BTW fics from all fandoms are welcome, if they're marked with which fandom they're taking place in.

The Author has the responsibility to warn his or hers readers with a suitable rate. If an Author violence these resctrictions then I'll edit the topic and if it's repeated, warn the Author.

I've been reading some fics in another fandom and there is a lot of diffrent ratings around. One of the most easy understood systems I've seen is the one that was used at Story.Loife. So I'll use this system for the time being (credits to Pep). If someone want me to use another system then tell me.
- A Universal fic is a fic that even the youngest can read. That means that they may be romantic but no violence nor bad language. (Rated G)
- A General fic is rated 13+ or PG-13. These fics are unsuitable for persons younger than 13 years. They may contain; odd mild cussing, light petting and romance and subject matter more suitable for a teen+
- A 15+ or FR15 fic may contain; a moderate amount of bad language, some descriptions of nudity and /or sexual acts and topics of a more adult nature.
- A 18+ or NC-17 fic may contain; fair bit of foul language, graphic descriptions of nudity and /or sexual acts, high level of angst and /or violence, references to rape, abuse and other traumatising issues.
- Addtional warnings should be added. The author shall mark their fics if they contain traumatising or horrible things like; rape, dicrimation, character death etc. (However this can be disscussed if the Author feel that it would give away too much of the story.In that case send me a message.)
- All fics that contain sexual relationship between two men and/or women is considered a Slash fic and shall be posted under Adult Fan fics. They should also be marked with which age they're suitable for and have addtional warnings (see above). [This could get changed, please feel free to tell me what you think.]
lol jake ur only getting non adult versions i daren't post the adult versions on here in case we have any under 18's on the forum and they get shocked or offended by them at the mo i only have 1 adult fic on wbbb lol same fic i put on.com but had 2 do major editing to and turn it into a wl fic

I could make the whole forum private... but that seems to be the only thing I can do.
On StoryLoife they use a ranking system i.e. Universal, 13+, 15+ and 18+... but then it depends much on yourself. Other admins have been asked for password protected sub-boards so it might be happening in the future.
it might be worth it for here if we have any under 18's i don't know what ages our members are on here but i'm guessing i'm one of the oldest
Forum is now Private which means that if someone want to see the board he or she must be a member. I must also approve all new members. Search engines can still index the site though. :)

Yes but I had mayor problems to access the board today. I hope it is not because the board is set to private? I had to go via my profile at another Lefora board. :S
strange i don't have tht problem with wbbb
It's working fine now so it was probaly just the server which were slow at the time.

Ok I've made some changes... but shall we use the Story.loife system (with some alternations) or the more "official" fiction rating sytem? See this page.
